This kit includes: 1 clear glass globe, 1 turned wood base (natural wood grain finish), 1 rubber stopper, a packet of snow, and detailed instructions.
Dimensions: The completed snowglobe with base stands 7-1/8" (18 cm) tall. The diameter of the glass globe is 6" (15 cm). The opening at the mouth of the globe is 3-7/8" (9.8 cm). Interior height (from the very center of the rubber stopper to the tallest point inside the globe) is about 4-3/4" (12 cm).
Basic Instructions: Glue your scene to the rubber stopper using waterproof silicone adhesive (aquarium sealant).* With the globe upside down, fill with water and snow. Press the stopper into place and seal with more adhesive. Finally, glue the neck of the globe into the wooden base. Note: allow plenty of time for glue to dry between each step. More detailed instructions are included with the kit.
Warning: Assembling a glass snowglobe requires time, care, and patience. Not an appropriate project for a child.
*To assemble this kit, you will need waterproof silicone adhesive (available at hardware stores.) The kit does not include glue.
