All of our DIY snow globe kits include step-by-step instructions and genuine snow globe snow. You can be creative in designing your snow globe scene using waterproof figurines and objects. Plastic, glass, and ceramic miniatures work beautifully. Great places to find these are model train supply and hobby shops, aquarium shops, and cake decorating supply stores. You can also create your own figurines using Polymer clay like Fimo or Sculpey. Be sure to water test the figurines before assembling them in your snow globe to be sure they are truly waterproof. You will also need waterproof silicone adhesive for the glass snow globe kits or waterproof plastic model cement for the plastic snowdome kits, which is not included but is available at hardware and hobby stores. A snowglobe kit requires careful construction and gluing. It is not an appropriate project for younger children.
