Old Strawberry Banke New Hampshire Snow Globe
Enticed by wild berries growing on the river bank (banke?) Captain Walter Neal and his small crew settled here in 1630, naming the site Strawberry Banke. The communal structure they built, nicely detailed in the snowdome, ultimately became the Strawberry Banke Museum in Portsmouth New Hampshire. This is a vintage snowdome - they haven't made them like this for many years. When we sell out, there will be no more available.
Plastic. 2-3/4 inches (7 cm) tall.
